Employment Coaching
We recommend that all international newcomers who are in the process of moving, as well as prospective newcomers considering relocating to the Helsinki capital region, attend one of International House Helsinki’s Newcomer Information Sessions. Our sessions are held regularly and, every other month, they focus on work-life information for jobseekers, employees, and entrepreneurs.
International House Helsinki (IHH) provides international professionals with early-stage personalised employment coaching designed to fit their individual needs. After you have participated in a Newcomer Information Session about Working Life, you can make an appointment for our Employment Coaching service.
You can book a 45 minute appointment either online or in person. Service is provided in English or Finnish.
Our Employment Coaching service is tailored to each customer’s needs in general, and we cover the following topics:
- Early-stage employment counseling
- Methods and tips for job-searching
- Introduction to the Finnish labour market
- Jobseeking in the Helsinki capital region
- Further education and training options in the Helsinki capital region
The Employment Coaching service is generally designed for:
- Those interested in moving to the Helsinki capital region for work or due to family ties
- Internationals in the Helsinki capital region
- International students
You do not need to be registered as a jobseeker or reside in Finland to use IHH’s Employment Coaching service. Please note you cannot register as a jobseeker with our service.
