Welcome to Vantaa 2024
Description
Have you recently moved to Vantaa or are you planning to move there in the near future? Are you curious about services provided by the city of Vantaa and non-profit organisations? Do you want to discover new activities to do in your free time or expand your network over a cup of coffee?
Talent Vantaa project is organising a Welcome to Vantaa event at Myyrmäkitalo for people who are living in Vantaa, have just moved or are planning to move to the city in the near future. It is a family friendly event and people of all ages are welcome to participate.
The event caters for both Finnish and English speakers. The entry is free and no registration is needed.
Programme
A variety of city services and non-profit organisations (NGOs) will introduce their activities and services.
You can, for example, ask about working and integrating into the city of Vantaa from the city authorities, and you will learn about available volunteering opportunities, Finnish language courses, mentoring and coaching sessions, networking opportunities as well as free time activities offered by different organisations.
14:00 The fair starts and coffee and pulla (a Finnish pastry) will be served for the first hundred participants.
Feel free to drop in any time before 4 pm to explore and learn about the diverse range of services offered by the city and various organisations.
