IHH for newcomers
If you are thinking about moving to Finland and wondering what life in the Helsinki capital region might look like, explore IHH’s pre-arrival support services. You can learn how things work in the Helsinki capital region, understand what steps you’ll need to take before and after your arrival, and even get personalised help with your relocation.
Before you can live and work in Finland you will need to handle some administrative matters with public authority services, such as applying for a personal identity code and registering your municipality of residence. You can get information and guidance about these steps and take care of them using IHH’s authority services. Plan a visit to IHH’s service centre and book appointments in advance to visit multiple public authority services under one roof.
If you are already in the Helsinki capital region and looking for general advice about life and work, IHH’s guidance and support services can help. You can find guidance and support on diverse topics ranging from employment coaching to schooling options and more, helping you settle in.
IHH for employers
IHH also helps employers in the Helsinki capital region with matters relating to international employees and international recruitment. You can use IHH’s international recruitment services for assistance with international candidate searches, funding instruments for employers and settling-in support for international employees. We also provide advisory and counseling services for companies and employers on issues such as work-based immigration, right to work and employer obligations, and more.
