Are you a Ukrainian woman in Finland or Ukraine? Join this event to learn how to start your own business in Finland!
Ukrainian Women and Business is an event for Ukrainian women who want to start their own business in Finland. All Ukrainian women interested in beginning their own entrepreneurship journey are warmly invited to join this event!
Ukrainian Women and Business will explain how to build a business in the Helsinki capital region in Ukrainian and English, covering the needs of Ukrainian women and the support they can receive.
The event will go over the following topics:
- the roles of Ukrainian women entrepreneurs, and their needs and experiences, presented by Maryna Saprykina (Head of the Board of CSR Ukraine, and a founder of Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs Hub)
- the first steps in starting an entrepreneurial career, including support and training
- available services for new entrepreneurs and businesses in the Helsinki capital region
- stories of female entrepreneurship in Finland and its importance
Event details
Ukrainian Women and Business will be held in English and Ukrainian.
It is a hybrid event and can be freely attended either in person or remotely.
Date: Friday 12 May from 13.30-15.30
Location: Business Helsinki at Kansakoulukatu 3, 4th floor, and also on Zoom
Language: English and Ukrainian

Ukrainian Women and Business is organised by International House Helsinki, Business Helsinki, the Confederation of Finnish Industries, Startup Refugees, CSR Ukraine and Herizon.
Please note:
We will have presentations both in Ukrainian and in English and we will provide an interpretation of the presentations via the Zoom app.
Participants should bring their own smartphones and headphones to listen to the interpretation, both in-person and online.
