Friend Program Event: Speed Friending

This Speed Friending event is part of International House Helsinki’s Friend Program and is organised by the Helsinki Friends community.
Our Friend Program offers international newcomers an opportunity to start making friends who live in the Helsinki area.
What is the event about?
Looking to meet new people in a fun and relaxed way? Speed Friending is designed to help you connect with others through a series of short, rotating conversations in a welcoming environment.
During the event, participants will take part in several short conversation rounds with different people. This structured format makes it easy to start conversations and meet many new people in a short time.
The event will include:
- Short pair and small-group conversation rounds
- Conversation prompts and icebreakers to help start discussions
- An open mingling session at the end of the event
- A contact board where participants can share their details and stay in touch
Whether you are new to Helsinki or simply looking to expand your social circle, this event is a great opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and make new connections.
Tea, coffee and light snacks will be available.
